Course Description
Obtaining authorization Night flight in VFRN helicopter It is aimed at private helicopter pilots who want to be able to fly helicopters at night, under night visual flight rules (NVFR).
With this rating, pilots with a PPL(H) license will obtain the necessary skills to exercise the powers of their license on a night flight.
Course duration
Maximum 6 months.
Course structure
The applicant will have completed a Night VFR course by completing at least either R22, R44 or EC120:
- 30 theoretical hours
- 15 hours of flight with the relevant helicopter
Exams
The applicant will have completed a Night VFR course by completing at least either R22, R44 or EC120:

Requirements to take the course:
- PPL License (H)
- Class 2 medical certificate
- Minimum of 100 flight hours as a helicopter pilot of which:
- 60 hours as pilot in command
- 20 hours of cross-country flight
- Possession of the relevant type rating
